Hey! Welcome here, I’m Renae and I believe homeschooling should feel awesome and not overwhelming!
I’m an entrepreneur, mom of five boys and one girl, and married to my best friend, Kevin. We own an equipment contracting business and amidst our busy life, we homeschool our four youngest boys, ages 11, 12, and 15 year old twins.
We live on a farm in one of the most beautiful little spots in Saskatchewan, Canada. We get to enjoy all four seasons of the year, with highs of +30C down to -45C. Our family loves going ice fishing and snowmobiling in winter, and hanging out at the lake during the summer. One of our homeschooling projects this year was raising our own chickens. The boys built our chicken coop and it is fabulous!

I am really good at…organizing! I love creating systems, schedules, and spreadsheets (I’m sort of nerdy) that make things run smooth and effortless.
My mom is my biggest cheerleader and my best friend. She is the most amazing woman I know with a heart of gold and strength of steel. She has the heart of the Proverbs 31 woman and I am so blessed to be her daughter.

- I’m a sucker for sappy movies that make me cry

- I love gardening, canning, and preserving our own vegetables
- My spices are alphabetized (yep, I’m that girl)
- I can’t sleep in…my internal alarm goes off at five am
- My favorite food is “anything with cream cheese” (dips, spreads, sauces!!)
- I’m an introvert in a house that’s never quiet or empty
- Mice and heights terrify me
- New Years Eve is my favorite holiday… an amazing spread of all things fondue!
